Best Colon Cleanser Reviews Intro:
While herbal colon cleansing is becoming more popular in the mainstream today as consumers learn of its benefits in weight loss and maintenance of overall health, there remains many questions about what it actually entails, how safe it is and what it can potentially do to improve your health.
While health benefits can indeed be significant from an herbal colon cleanse, there remains the need to know how to identify a quality natural colon cleanse preparation.
In order to identify the best colon cleanser for you, it is important to consider what your goals are as you embark on a natural colon cleansing regimen.
First, it is important to know what phase of your health journey you are on. If you are in a weakened or debilitated condition, colon
cleansing may not be advisable at this time. Instead, you may require a health program that helps “build” your system through the right
usage of balanced nutrition for your body. It’s important to speak to your doctor or nutritionist for advice if you are not sure if you are ready for a natural colon cleanse.
However, if you are experiencing difficulty from a number of the low grade chronic complaints that many people struggle with (such as constipation, indigestion, weight gain, bloating, headaches, sinus problems, and other type problems), then you may indeed find help from a natural colon cleansing program.
The best colon cleanser for people struggling with such typical complaints will often contain a natural fiber such as psyllium, guar gum, flax, or bentonite clay, etc, in order to trap the toxins and carry them out of the body. Also, the natural colon cleanser should contain a balance of herbs designed to assist in the elimination of toxic matter. These herbs play a part in loosening impacted matter, while the fiber plays a role in capturing and carrying the toxic matter out of the body.
In addition, herbs like milk thistle, a powerful antioxidant that supports the liver, should be incorporated into a colon cleanse. The liver is responsible for detoxification in the body and so added support for the liver (at a time when toxins may be moving through the colon and also entering the blood stream) is an important component of a colon cleanse.
The best colon cleanser strategies always involve paying attention to your body. In some instances it can become necessary to slow down a cleanse due to the fact that as the toxic matter leaves your body, it can put a significant burden on the organs of detoxification. It is not uncommon to experience “cleansing reactions” in the first week or two of a natural colon cleanse program. These reactions may include aches and pains, fever, fatigue, and other similar symptoms. It is important to drink plenty of water during this time to assist your body as it begins to throw off toxins and heal. It is also important to get plenty of rest while your body is working to bring you to a new level of health.
Some people recognize such an improvement to their health, weight, and energy levels after a colon cleanse that they decide to embark on more thorough cleansing that involves the gall bladder and liver. While there are benefits to these cleanses as well, it is always important to start with a colon cleanse before targeting any other organs of detoxification.
Identifying the best colon cleanser for your body may involve a bit of trial and error since we are all different in makeup. While you can consider the necessary best ingredients for your particular cleanse needs, the only way of finding out how well your body will respond is to try a cleanse. Luckily, most colon cleanses are quite safe when followed correctly and the potential rewards can be quite significant.
Here are our reviews of some of the Best Colon Cleansers:
1. Colonix (by Dr Natura)
Overview: Colonix is a high-quality fiber-based colon cleanser. I took P&B shakes for 1 month, but only had 1 bowel movement every 2 days, so I decided to try another method. I browsed around the CureZone forums, and the members seemed very supportive of Colonix, so I decided to try it. It is now the primary colon cleanser I use nowadays.
After taking Colonix for 2 months, my skin cleared up tremendously, my bloating stopped, and I no longer had fatigue, or constipation. It is extremely easy and convenient to take.. It’s the colon cleanser for lazy people, as you never need to make your own shakes.
Colonix is a high quality colon cleanse product but I wished there wasn’t a huge ‘healing crisis’, which is experienced by a lot of people. You may get drowsy and tired often when cleansing (but not after the regimen is over).
This is expected, because the Colonix is destroying harmful bacteria, yeast and fecal matter in your colon, which releases toxins. These toxins cause the healing crisis, and leads to feelings of fatigue. This is actually a good thing because it shows the product is working. Just make sure you take a lot of essential nutrients, and rebound often when cleansing.
2. OxyPowder
OxyPowder is a product that you have to be patient with. You can’t expect to see results after just a few days. You will start noticing results after 3 weeks or so. After 1-2 months, you will really start to notice a difference in your increase in energy.
I tried OxyPowder a year or so after trying Colonix. OxyPowder is a good product, and helped reduced the bloating in my stomach. I had rough patches of skin near my forehead, and they disappeared after the regimen.
One major complaint I have about Oxypowder is that it caused dependency. After I stopped taking OxyPowder, I felt I couldn’t have a bowel movement unless I took it again. Eventually I had to take Colonix for a month to get my system back to ‘normal’.
OxyPowder is great for short-term relief of constipation. However, if you’re cleansing to get rid of chronic symptoms such as acne, or chronic constipation, it is not very effective, and I would suggest you get Colonix as a herbal colon cleanser instead.
3. UltraAction Cleanse
UltraActionCleanse is one product I have tried once. I haven’t heard a lot about it when I tried it, but just viewed an infomercial, and decided to experiment with it. They claim to be an extreme colon cleanser.
After a few days taking UltraAction Cleanse, my bloating stopped completely. I was excited, because both OxyPowder and Colonix were not as quick in eliminating bloating.
However, I wish UltraAction Cleanse provided more long-term benefits. After 2 weeks or so, my bloating came back, and I had troubles having bowel movements once a day. The taste of UltraAction Cleanse is also hard to bare, as it takes awful. I also experience some side effects such as nausea and extreme exhaustion during cleansing.
