When you get right down to it, isn’t this colon cleansing just another fad?

Take equal quantity (about 200 gm) of White Sultana Raisins, Senna and Rose Hips extract. Begin the preparation by steaming White Sultana Raisins in 1 liter of water and do the same with Senna. One should then infuse for about ½ hour and then filter those liquids. Once settled mix both liquids in a 2.5 liter bottle and then finally add Rose Hips Extract into the container (bottle). Fill the bottle up with boiled water and then let it be cool. Store it in dry and cool place away from sunlight and reach from the children. For effective colon cleansing, drink 100 ml of this mixture daily evening for about 16 days. However, one should consult the physician before using such natural colon cleansing recipe to be on safer side though such remedies never harm the body.

Another common recipe includes taking about 5 kg ripe plums, 400 gm honey, one tablespoon apple cider vinegar and same amount of tamarind jam. The procedure begins putting pitted plums and 1/3rd of the pits into a huge bowl. Filling the pot with water and boiling it for about an hour, uncovered is the first step. One should then stir from-time-to-time and keep on adding more water if required. After one hour, remove the pits, and go on to with the same and let the mixture simmer for another 20 minutes. After the jam gets cooled, add all the rest of ingredients namely; honey, apple cider vinegar, and tamarind jam. Pour this medicated special jam into glass containers, which can be sealed tightly.
For effective colon cleansing, one should consume 1 tbsp of this plum jam early in the morning, preferably on empty stomach. This recipe gets you great benefits in cleansing the entire gastrointestinal tract, especially when associated with constipation or hardened stools.
Homemade colon cleanser Tea Recipe
One of the simplest recipes is to have herbal colon cleanser tea. The tea that does not contain any milk! One can make tea in a very easy way –take 200 ml of water and start boiling it on simmer fire. When it just starts bubbling, add 2 cloves and crushed ginger (about 2 tsp). Let it be on fire for about 3 min more. Add holy basil leaves (about 5-6) and mint leaves (about 3-4). Let the decoction be on minimum fire for about 5 minutes more. The water turns brownish and then you take it off from the fire. Cool it and then add about 1 tbsp of lemon juice. Consume it while lukewarm. Practice this for about one month and you find great results. One should be cautious if has acidity problem.
Some people add dandelion leaves (young) or wheat grass for added fiber and cleansing properties. Most recipes will include fennel or garlic because of their anti-bacterial characteristics.
And some people just use a simple lemon juice with added fiber like psyllium for their cleanse. Just be sure you make enough of it to last a few days so you will have it ready and it will be convenient to drink. Be sure to drink a lot of extra water to flush out the toxins and wastes that all of these juices and veggies are cleansing out of your system.
And be sure to leave time to rest instead of exercise during your homemade colon cleanse.
